Need to be assembled, which takes time hanging each piece. Be careful, though packed well, cystal/glass pieces are very fragile and easly broken. Design is pretty, can't wait to have it hung so I can see it lighted up. Do recommend purchasing item. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
