This is a cute little lamp. Its definitely more of a task lamp size, but takes regular light bulbs. Its a nice, solid lamp. I wasnt too sure where to put it, but ended up using it in my 7 year olds room. Hes happy and it gives him something more adult looking to use. I couldn't be happier with this
